I believe that everyone needs a break from the news cycle every once in a while, which is why I created escapista for you. 

as an escapist myself, I spend most of my free time reading or exploring new places. 'new' can mean many things here: new places in the truest sense, but also newly discovered spots that have moved something in me, but do not appear at the top of a bucket list because they are too small to be recognized or just 'unknown'. with this blog, I will draw your attention to precisely such places. places that deserve to be seen.
